Rob Bain is part of a wile new breed of librarians that have taken their traditional ideals of intellectual freedom and the democratization of information into the chaotic world of the Internet. Professionally, Rob is interested in the use of open source technologies in academic libraries and advances in web-research guide development. His personal interests include collecting information on a wide range of fun topics (check out his scintillating Stephen Crane Research Guide). He also enjoys publishing the poetry of Charles Centore. Oh, and he almost forgot that he loves talking about himself in the third person and he thinks the humanities are cool too.
